Abstract

Improving the understanding of the Al-Qur'an is one of the important efforts in deepening religious understanding and strengthening the spiritual values ​​of society. This article discusses an interpretation learning program designed to improve the ability to understand the meaning of the Al-Qur'an for mothers of the Al-Muttaqin Mosque congregation, Perum Griya Curug, Legok, Tangerang, Banten. The implementation method uses a study scheme packaged in the form of bandongan study and questions and answers method by face-to-face. The results of the program show a significant increase in the ability to understand the contents of the Al-Qur'an. This article emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach that does not only focus on technical reading skills, but also on the deep meaning of the verses of the Al-Qur'an to be applied in community life. This program is expected to be a model for similar activities in other communities
