Edukasi Urgensi Bahasa Arab dalam Pembelajaran di SMA al-Ashriyyah Nurul Iman

The Arabic language plays a crucial role in Islamic education, especially in pesantren environments, as it is the primary language for understanding Islamic sources such as the Qur'an and Hadith. This study aims to examine the urgency of Arabic language learning at Al-Ashriyyah Nurul Iman Senior High School and its impact on students' understanding of Islam. The research employs observation, interviews, and document analysis to assess the effectiveness of the Arabic language learning programs implemented at the school. The findings indicate that Arabic language learning at Al-Ashriyyah Nurul Iman Senior High School has been effectively conducted, supported by the pesantren environment that requires students to use Arabic in their daily lives. Additionally, religious study programs and guidance from competent educators further enhance students' comprehension of Arabic. This study emphasizes that Arabic education serves not only as a communication tool but also as a means to strengthen religious understanding and shape students' character according to Islamic values.
