Abstract

Learning tahfidz Al-Qur'an at TPQ Nurul Hidayah, Parung Village, Bogor Regency, aims to improve students' ability to memorise the Al-Qur'an with correct tajweed rules. The Qur'an as a holy book contains life guidance for Muslims, so it is important for the younger generation to learn and memorise it well. This programme is supported by the West Java provincial government under the name SADESHA (one village one hafidz). It uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach and involves 39 participants from various grade levels. The materials taught included Tahsin, talaqqi, muroja'ah, and.

The evaluation results showed that although the participants were enthusiastic in tahfidz al-qur'an, the reading was still not optimal. Most participants are not yet fluent in reading the Qur'an. This programme also involves the active role of parents to support children in maintaining memorisation. With fun and interactive learning methods, it is hoped that participants can memorise the Qur'an effectively and form Islamic characters.

Through this activity, it is expected to give birth to a generation of hafidz who not only master memorisation, but also understand the meaning and practice it in everyday life.
